AWG SEB Scholarship Fundraising


​On September 19th, 2025, we ,as the Southeastern Bluegrass Chapter of AWG, held our first-ever silent auction entitled "Bourbon and Rocks" with the hopes of raising $5,000 to support our AWG SEB Kentucky Geoscience Student Research Scholarship. With the help of our generous sponsors and individual donors, we are happy to announce that we raised $4,980!
This would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers coordinating and running the event, and our outstanding community for not only donating items for auction, but also attending and making the event a huge success. Thank you!
Below are the donations that were up for auction. Despite being called "Bourbon and Rocks", we had a diverse array of items up for auction!
